Dr. Scott Bennett

As the Associate Vice President of Student Services at Lee College, Dr. Bennett is dedicated to providing students with the critical resources and support they need to achieve their academic and career aspirations.
Dr. Bennett's career has been marked by a relentless focus on student success and institutional excellence. Before assuming his current role, he served as Lee College's Executive Director of Enrollment Services and Registrar, spearheading initiatives to streamline student processes and enhance enrollment outcomes. His earlier roles at Lee College as Registrar and Student Success Advisor further solidified his expertise in fostering student achievement.
Prior to his tenure at Lee College, Dr. Bennett held roles at Victoria College in Victoria, Texas, serving as both a recruiter and academic advisor, where he helped shape the educational journeys of countless students. Dr. Bennett holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of New England, an MBA in Management from the University of Houston-Victoria, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Dr. Bennett's academic background complements his leadership in higher education administration, and his dedication to professional development is evident in his selection for the Texas Success Center's Inaugural Leadership Academy class — a prestigious program focused on cultivating leadership in higher education.
A recognized leader in his field, Dr. Bennett has presented at numerous conferences, and served on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's Apply Texas Committee and the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officials Legislative Committee. In 2019, he was honored as one of Baytown's "30 Under 40," a distinction celebrating his significant impact on the community.
